You will work autonomously, undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominately home based settings, making a true difference to our client's independence and well-being. There is no nursing home work.About the roleThe Occupational Therapist will provide person centred care with an opportunity to:Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in home and clinic settingsWork with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at homeDevelop goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local communityComplete equipment prescriptions, home modifications, advise on pressure care management/ seating, develop in home and community based therapy based programsWork with a diverse range of clients and health conditionsParticipate in student training programsParticipate in service development and quality improvement initiativeA comprehensive orientation program is available, along with supervision and support opportunities.We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with:Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership of professional associationCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as an Occupational TherapistKnowledge and experience in the delivery of Occupational Therapy services within home, group and community settingsKnowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community careOur offer to you:Generous salary packaging, subsidised staff parking and discounted leisure membershipsFlexible work practices and options to purchase additional leave to help create some important work/life balanceProfessional development and study leave to help reach your learning and career goalsSocial club membership offering a range of events, functions and local community discountsOur CREATE Outstanding reward and recognition programClosing:17 and to please visit our website
